This will be the 16th Annual don’t ya know. So ya better scratch an X on your icebox calendar for September 5 & 6. We’ll be meeting at the Oasis Convention Center in Springfield for this here two day hoot were fixin to have. Now if your a wondering what kinda fun ya’ll can have. Well, there will be bike games, fun skill games, poker runs, and more. Now if your more into history ya just might want to check out the spot where the first recorded shootout took place between Wild Bill Hickok and another fella. Yep shore did happen right here in downtown Springfield. Ya might wanta mosey on over to Wilsons Creek where the Yanks & the Rebs fought an awful battle. Er take a cruise thru the Mark Twain Forest. Betcha didn’t know Sprinfield was the birthplace of the Mother Road yep Route 66. Boy ya sure wanta taka cruise down this piece uh history for a spell. Like I said neighbor, were a fixin ta have the best darn time a body can stand down here in these Ozark Hills. So plan to scoot on down and stay a spell. Heck ya might even catch a look at one of them ther baldknobbers. Hopin ta lay eyes on all ya’ll at the rally. |
